Alyson Muzila is an actor, writer, host and producer based in New England. She has performed in numerous films, TV shows and commercials, and enjoys a wide range of work from creating sketch comedy, emceeing events, hosting news shows to acting on stage.

Alyson’s film and television acting credits include the short film Scotch, Please in which she wrote, produced, and starred. In 2021, She was cast as a principal role in five independent films, including Penny, working with award-winning writer/director Rachel Thomas, and Sunshine and Mr. Roy’s Bicycle Repair Shop, both in which she co-starred with her daughter Ava. 

In 2019, Alyson co-created The Wes-TEN, a local news show that she hosts on the Weston Media Center’s cable channel. With over 30 episodes that include in-studio desk reporting and on-location interviews. The Wes-TEN has become a popular show both locally and online with followers from around the country. 

Recent stage performances include Theresa in the British farce How the Other Half Loves, various roles in the musicals A Christmas CarolMiracle on 34th Street, and Bye, Bye Birdie at the Weston Friendly Society, and independent collaborations such as Butter, performed at The Burren Backroom in Somerville, MA.

Raised in Wyoming but born in Minnesota, Alyson has mastered the Midwestern accent and employs it with characters such as “Susan” (@susan.in.the.van), whose cooking videos can be found on Alyson's YouTube channel. She is an avid horseback rider and loves yoga, dance, and all things ‘mothering’ as she has four children, three of whom are actors. Alyson is an active volunteer in her town and sits on various national and Boston-area boards where she advocates for sustainability, autism awareness and neurodiversity acceptance, as well as issues surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion.

Alyson currently trains with Rachel Bailit of the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, Los Angeles and actor James DuMont, among others. She is a proud union member of SAG-AFTRA.
